Samsung spent bigger than Apple as in 2012 where it spent a whopping $401 million while Apple spent $333 million.
The brand value of these two companies is of great importance where Apple is branded to be number one when it comes to value. It is estimated as of 2013, Apple has a brand value of 185 billion pounds while Samsung which is ranked number 30 in the world, is estimated to have a brand value of 21 billion pounds. The compilation goes on when it comes to determining the models released for Samsung galaxy and Apple iPhone since their inception. Since the release of the Samsung Galaxy, fifty three unique models have been released into the market while Apple iPhone only has seven unique models released into the market. Samsung Galaxy was released three years later after Apple iPhone which was released in September 2007. The figures discussed before also apply to how many units each company has in the market. Samsung galaxy has more units in the market than Apple iPhone.
