The download links for the fully-functional, trial version of Office 2010 have already gone live but comes with a 30 day-trial. How do you use it any longer? Read on.
Just follow the simple process mentioned below to use your Office 2010 version for an ‘extended’ 6 month period:
- Locate this folder in your
C:%Program Files% Common Filesmicrosoft shared OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform - Open OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform and click the tool named OSPPREARM
- Alternatively, you can use the command prompt. Click Start, in the Search field, type cmd and do not press Enter. Amongst the results, you will see cmd.exe
- Right click on the icon and click the Run as Administrator option. You should see the DOS black window.
- Now type:
C:Program FilesCommon Filesmicrosoft sharedOfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatformOSPPREARM.EXE
This will activate your Office 2010 for another other 30 days. You can repeat this technique 5 more times to extend your trial period to almost 6 months.
