How to use an .mdf , .mds or an .iso file

Well just the other day I was back to my usual business of downloading (won’t say what :P ) and I encountered a file with a .mdf extension. Hmm, that’s when I remembered that I had made a video about how to use these types of files and what to do with it. Well basically the .mds file is a sort of address-holder for the mdf file. The main data is stored into the mdf file, and the mds file contains data about it. (You could somewhat compare it to a pointer in C/C++)

The loading instruction for iso is the same, only that you won’t have a mds file for it. You just directly load the iso file.

Just view the video below:

If your looking for a free software in place of Alcohol 120%, you could use some like ISO Recorder (recommended) to burn iso or InfraRecorder to burn a mdf file.

If you have any doubt, don’t hesitate to comment!
