Update: This tutorial can also be followed for WordPress 3.0. WordPress 3.0 beta 1 has just been released and the big news making the rounds is that WordPress MU is being integrated into the mainstream or single-blog WordPress framework. However this option is not visible straight away. You will have to tweak it a bit. Read on to know more.
Just insert the following line into your wp-config.php file:
define ('WP_ALLOW_MULTISITE', true ) ;
For further instructions you can refer to this page. Once you have done the above you will see a title called ‘Network’ in the Tools menu. This is where all the action of WordPress 3.0 or more specifically the Multi-User (MU) features takes place! So Happy Blogging.
